| WA provided complete design services for the largest United Parcel Service (UPS) distribution center in the Southeastern United States located in Hialeah, FL. In addition to normal delivery service, the facility is a major hub for overnight express delivery for Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Collier and Martin Counties and consists of a 340,000 SF single-story main building which occupies 10-acres and includes a state-of-the-art computerized conveyer system for receiving, handling and distributing packages, administrative offices, two computer rooms, and various support spaces. The facility also includes 160-truck bays, a vehicle maintenance shop, wash building, and two separate support buildings. |
