| WA provided complete A/E services for the planning and design of the phased development of the Racal-Milgo Corporate Headquarters and Electronics Manufacturing Facilities located on a 100-acre site. The work provided facilities for the consolidation of corporate, engineering, research and development, manufacturing, and support personnel that had been located in buildings scattered throughout South Florida. The project included 19 buildings for engineering and laboratory clean rooms, manufacturing areas, warehouse and distribution facilities, administrative offices, technical education center, a recreational building, and parking for 3,600 vehicles. Phase I consisted of eight buildings and site development and was fast-tracked utilizing multiple bid packages with construction completed in 19 months. |
