| WA was responsible for the fit-out of the new Publix at Mary Brickell Village. Due to the smaller footprint available and the configuration of the shell space, WA worked closely with Publix staff to design this store specifically for the site, as prototypical designs could not be adopted. To increase footprint, two mezzanines were added; one for employee amenities and administrative offices and another for equipment. This maximized the area on the ground floor for retail operations. Egress for Publix parking is segregated from the retail component for increased shopper satisfaction. |
