WA worked with Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects in New Orleans as design consultants for the new facility to be located on the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) in New Orleans, LA, which manufactures components for the space program. The NASA/UNO Research Administration Building is a collaborative building project between NASA, the State of Louisiana, and the University of New Orleans to expand facilities at the Michoud Assembly Facility. The new facility includes administrative and business offices; educational labs and training resources; conference and lecture rooms; and collaborative research and development spaces for UNO and NASA employees and contractors. Design was taken through to the design development phase. |
