| The Caribbean and Latin American (CALA) headquarters for Lucent Technologies can occupy approximately 1,200 people. The project consolidated nine separate areas of operations for the Caribbean and Latin America Group. The facilities two-story atrium lobby mixes dark granite with stainless steel and light-colored wood. The rest of the building contains such amenities as decorative lakes with fountains, an outdoor amphitheater, ample employee and visitor parking and, within the four-story building, 2,500 SF of lab development space for product development, a full-service cafeteria, a health center, training rooms, and a presentation/showcase area with state-of-the-art equipment. |
