WA provided architectural and engineering services for the design of a six-level parking garage and a four-story, 50,000 SF medical office building at Doctor’s Hospital in Coral Gables. The parking garage accommodates 447 vehicles, and is designed with half of the first level below grade to reduce height, as well as for a future expansion for 103 additional spaces for a total of 550 spaces. The parking garage and medical office building are compatible in architectural style and details to the existing hospital and sensitive to the surrounding residential community. The project is part of the continued growth of Doctor’s Hospital as an international sports medicine center. Facilities include diagnostic treatment services, primary care, out-patient services, out-patient surgery, radiology, laboratories and public spaces.
WA also provided A/E services to future tenants of the medical office building for various interior improvements to meet individual requirements. Fast-track construction was utilized to meet an accelerated completion schedule. |
