Aqua is located on 8.5 acres of private grounds on the Indian Creek Waterway in Miami Beach. This entire luxury beach community is surrounded by water allowing each resident to experience waterfront living. WA was the Architect and Engineer of Record for the development and work closely in collaboration with world renowned designers such as Walter Chatham, Alison Spear, Alexander Gorlin, Andrés Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk, of DPZ, Allan T. Shulman and Suzanne Martinson.
Aqua features three mid-rise condos (166 apartments) and 46 luxury townhomes as well as an eight story parking garage. The buildings were created to maximize views, minimize scale and stand in sharp contrast to the dominance of the giant towers that now define most of South Beach. Each of these exclusive mid-rise condos reaches 11 stories and includes a limited number of individual residences ranging between three and four bedrooms. The single-family residences are three and four stories and offer either three or four bedrooms, spacious living rooms, high ceilings, private entryways and state-of-the-art kitchens and bathrooms. The community offers tree-lined streets, nearly a half-mile waterfront promenade, two pools, whirlpool, clubhouse, world class fitness center and spa, jogging path, sculpture garden and gourmet market. |
